RMGA Member Member Golf Tournament

Format:
The Member/MemberTournament is one of the premier events of the year for our Members. Two man teams will compete amongst the field. Each flight winner will continue to the final shootout to determine the 2015 Member-Guest Tournament Champion.

Friday, August 14
The course will be open fo each team to play a practice round with your guest for an additional fee. Each team will be responsible to schedule your tee time with the golf shop. 

5pm to 8pm Registration, Team Registration and Skills Challenge:
Registration for Members and their Guests will be held at Reunion Country Club’s Pro Shop beginning at 5pm with the Skills Challenge taking place immediately after registration has been completed.  During the Skills Challenge, individual players will have a chance to score points in different golf skills contest. Prizes will be paid out to the top 3 contestants

At 5pm teams will sign in and choose their tee gifts, sponsored by Heritage Charity Auctions and Reunion Country Club.
The Skills Challenge will be held from 5pm to 8pm, individual event, each player will have a chance to score points in different golf skills contest. Prizes will be paid out to the top 3 contestants

Saturday, August 15
Reverse Shotgun will commence at  at 9:00am sharp. Each team will play against the other groups in the field. The teams will be seeded in flights of six based on 80% of their teams combined USGA handicap. There will be a chance to win 10 points per nine hole match. Each hole is worth 1 point for winning the hole; 1/2 a point for tying the hole and 0 points for losing the hole. Your team will be awarded 1 bonus point for winning the match. There will be a cookout lunch available on the first tee after the first match.

Sunday, August 16
Tee times will start at 8am.  Tee times will be based on the previous days scores 
Scoring will be done on the 18th green after the rounds have been completed.

Closest to the Pin

There will be a closest to the pin contest on the tournament days. After the final match is played the 13 players that won the closest to the hole will have a shoot out on the 18th green from a distance of approximately 150 yards. This is a great opportunity for a chance to win some additional prizes.

Championship Shootout

The teams with the most points after the five flight matches will compete against the other flight winners in a Championship Shootout Match, starting on Hole No. 1. The teams will play an alternate shot match with one team eliminated after each hole until we determine the 2015 Member-Guest Champion. Trophies will be provided in the Clubhouse to each of the flight winners.

Rules:

Play will be governed by USGA rules. All players must have a valid USGA Handicap to participate.

Entry Fee:

Members $495 per team
Non-Members $595 per team

Practice Round Green Fees: 
Before 12pm:      Reunion Members- $17, Non-Members $35
After 12pm:        Reunion Members- $12, Non-Members $25               

Prizes: Trophies will be presented to the flight winners and the 2015 Member-Guest Champion

All RMGA Cup points and prizes are in play for this event.

Hole-in-One

Each player will have their chance to win some great prizes if they hit a hole-in-one on any of the 5 par three holes.
