Format:
Stableford is a scoring system is unlike traditional scoring methods, where the aim is to have the lowest score. The scoring system for the Stableford format is to have the highest score. Rather than counting the total number of strokes taken, as in stroke play, the player will be scoring points based on the number of strokes taken at each hole.

Stableford format awards points based on the number of strokes taken at each hole. The following is the scoring system at the 2015 RMGA Stableford Championship:

• Double Eagle: 8 points
• Eagle: 4 points
• Birdie: 2 points
• Par: 1 point
• Bogey or Double Bogey: 0 point
• Triple Bogey or more: -1 point

Final scores will be calculated utilizing 80% of the player’s course handicap.

Eligibility:
All members of the RMGA are eligible to play in this event. If you are not an RMGA member the Annual fee is $20, age 21 years and older who participate in the GHIN handicap system and receive USGA Handicap indexes. 

Rules:
Play will be governed by USGA rules. All players must have a valid USGA Handicap to participate.

Entry Fee:
$25 per person

Green Fees:
Reunion Members - $12
Non-Members- $35

Prizes:
Prizes will be determined based on the number of participants. Additional prizes may be available for Closest to the Hole or other side game formats. All RMGA Cup points and prizes are in play for this event.
