2025 RMGA Match Play

Championship

Dates:    May 7th –Aug 31st             

·         This is a Single elimination match play tournament.  Open to all members of the RMGA

o   First 32 players to sign up are in, additional sign-ups will be put on the waiting list

o   Players must have a current handicap index.

o   Players will receive 100% of USGA Handicap.

o   After each round, your handicap will update

o   Players will play off of the lower handicap during matches. 

o   Players must have posted NLT 10 rounds in a calendar year.  If not, the lowest handicap index will be used during that 12-month period. 

 

Time:              Round of 32   May 7^th –May 28th     

                        Round of 16    May 29th – June 18th  

                        Round of 8      June 19th   –Jul 12th       

                        Semi Finals     July 13th – Aug 3rd

Finals              Aug 4th – Aug 30th  

***There are no exceptions for time extensions.  Players unable to complete their match will be forced to forfeit. ***                                       

Format: Individual Match Play

  • All players will play from their established tees.
